Traditionally, many standard development programs follow a team-focused approach, with reasonably well-defined linear development steps, from A to B. The foundation of such programs lies in team dynamics, shaped by individual team members. This approach has proven to be quite successful, especially when utilizing the classical drivesDNA™ instruments.
In March 2020, we launched SD Next Level Development, combined with our 3-layer approach: Collective, Team, and Individual. The distinctive feature of this approach is that it doesn't start with the team and its individual members, but with the underlying collective culture and energy. It is the very core where the resilience of teams and organizations resides. In SD Next Level Development, this is precisely the starting point for strategic team and organizational development, enabled by the unique Collective drivesDNA™ instrument.
We reverse the development direction, starting not from the individual but from the collective. This goes deeper, has a greater strategic impact, and proves more effective for larger or more complex development challenges.
This new way of working requires not only a different perspective but also a different approach for you as an SD Expert. You are expected to be able to handle and guide processes at this level, including the tougher, more profound issues that become visible here. This ongoing learning group is designed precisely for that purpose.
You become conscious and proficient in working from the level of the Collective drivesDNA™ – from the place where collective culture and energy reside. It serves as the starting point for further development of teams and individuals, now optimally aligned with the frameworks of the collective. Sometimes, this even means intervening at the collective level before an effective step can be taken at the team and/or individual level.
A "Next Level" project inherently has a greater strategic impact and long-term effect. This demands commitment from both the client and SD Expert to truly embrace this approach.
Practical Information:
Prerequisite for participation is a basic knowledge and experience with the Collective drivesDNA™ and working on team and organizational development from the deepest undercurrent.
The learning group is a unique opportunity to learn how to scale up to more strategic team and organizational development using the 3-layer approach of Spiral Drives and its associated tools. You will learn with and from fellow SD Experts, each with their own expertise in working at this profound level.
Schedule. : 2 cycles per year, one before and one after summer
Frequency. : Once per month (a cycle includes 5-6 meetings)
Location. : Online via ZOOM
Target group : Maximum of 10 SD Experts, with work experience at the level of the collective undercurrent
Language. : English
Required: Completed training or module for the Collective drivesDNA™
